The Empire strikes back, so to say, when for example Indian producer NT Edit & Neha Rajpal present a funky R&B track with sexy soprano vocals which may well have sprung from Dr. Dre's Studio in Southern California. Cultural clash becomes a game which is often the musical equivalent to the deft movements of martial arts, as in X crew 's amazing Two-Step-Garage proposition "akhian". While the majority of tracks on KARMA CULTURE 2 is now by new artists, some of the usual suspects are back again with spanking new, partly unreleased tracks: Dissidenten, Dao, Senses and Kulisch & Vana are among those who could not be ignored for the new Karma Culture, while compiler Christian Arndt (aka DJ PeaceLounge) moved further out East AND West to discover Asian grooves in unlikely places like Brazil (Mantrapop) and Italy (Black Bombay).
